  1. I’m loving this yarn: http://www.woolandhoney.com/products-page/animal-tracks-farm/kid-mohair-blend/
And all of the local ones!
    oh wait, new favorite: http://www.woolandhoney.com/products-page/why-knot/autumn-sky/
And this curry-yellow is my favorite color all of the time (http://www.woolandhoney.com/yarn/vibrant-fibers-local/), but I feel like I shouldn’t just buy yarn for myself. I’m trying to make a hat for my 3 year old boy, he is loving blue right now (last year it was all about red).

My knitting up until now has been all scarves. My ultimate goal is to make an amazing sweater, but until then I want to make Koen’s hat this year and a blanket for my man. And a scarf for my future sister-in-law.

  2. Um, ok. I also posted it on Facebook but my privacy settings are pretty strict. I made the post public… so I hope you can see it.

That be my facebook page. If you wanted to be my friend… I’d probably squeal and show MIke (fiance) and he’d say something like, “at least you didn’t creep her out and add her first like a stalker.”

I hope I’m doing this right, you did say make a comment for *each* one.

  3. I don’t really do twitter but after finding your giveaway and blog I’m now a follower of your blog, and of course I visited the wool and honey site. As we don’t get malabrigo in our stores here I would probably have to spend the voucher on that if I won. That would be very cool.

  4. What a lovely give-a-way!

I spent a few minutes visiting her shop, and it’s hard to choose just one yarn with so many beautiful choices. . . but I love the baby alpaca Red Rover in bulky.

Have you started knitting yet, Ashlea (not that you have a lot of free time at the moment)?

    Thank you for the opportunity!

  5. I would love to spend it at the shop, just another road trip needed! I love the local yarns, especially Elizabethโ€™s Designs sock yarn.

I am now following the blog!

    sorry I don’t tweet

  6. I LOVE finding cool blogs from fellow fiber freaks like myself. Wool & Honey is one of my top 5 fave shops around Traverse so this giveaway combines two of my very favorite things ๐Ÿ™‚ I “shared” on my page and i signed up to follow you now that i am aware of your existence ( Thanks to Melissa who posted the contest on the Wool & honey facebook page so i became “enlightened” ) Good luck to everyone ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. And, goodness, I don’t think I could go wrong with anything from Wool and Honey, but I think I’d probably opt for some Fiber Company Goodness! I have a few sweater patterns calling my name. ๐Ÿ™‚

  8. Great contest! I would use the $50 gift certificate for one of the great “12 Knits Of Christmas” kits or maybe some local fiber. Wool & Honey is my very favorite yarn store, always something inspiring! I just subscribed to your email update list!

  9. I Love Wool and Honey, Melissa’s has styled the store in a very classic and homey way. Her displays are always simple and clean with a contemporary feel. And of course I could go on and on about the yarns. If I won the $50 gift certificate I would most likely buy lots of Malabrigo in all shades! I love that stuff, all the colors are stunning. The Twelve Knits of Christmas is such a great idea for getting gifts actually completed to give as gifts throughout the holidays. I am on my way to the Wool and Honey website right now to let everyone know what I would spend the $50 on. Happy Knitting Everyone!

  10. Ohhh! Sock yarn! So glad I’m following @BeSquirrely on Twitter! And I posted this on mine — I love following knitting on my Twitter.

  11. I loved the Hand Paint Chunky yarn. The Azulichen colors go perfectly with our living room and I’d love $50 to spend on yarn for a throw!

I’m also following you now on Twitter, and retweeted your message about this contest (even though I was hesitant to spread the word as I’d love to win the contest myself)!

  12. Well, I’ve recently been to Wool And Honey and purchased such beautiful yarn , I’d easily go back and spend another $50 on beautiful yarn and perhaps a class. Count me in!

  13. What WOULDN’T I spend $50 on from Wool and Honey! I don’t knit, but the minute I was on the site, I saw a million crochet projects pop up in my mind. I also love the adorable stitch markers and the project bags (I’m currently rocking Ziploc bags, which are seldom large enough).

I’m a new follower, but I just love your blog. I just had my first son in July, and I loved reading your birth story.
