Murphy’s Law of Parenting #359 says that as soon as you take your focus off of your toddler to clean something in the other room, the child will create another mess for you to clean up. Sigh.
How’s your week going, lovelies?
p.s. “They” say the ability to draw straight lines and not just scribbles is a developmental milestone so, yeah. There’s that.
Oh dear. Where did she do it? Do you remember us telling about when Chris was about 3 or 4, he got up earlier than we did and with a green crayon drew a line around the entire white living room walls at about the 3-foot level. But, as you pointed out, this may be a breakthrough or a milestone in Wren’s art career …..
yes, that green crayon is exactly what I thought of when she did this in our bathroom. Breakthrough indeed!
The marks are so wonderfully colorful, hard not to kind of like it — well, other than the part about having to clean it up. my week is just nutty. crazy busy. but then again, when is it not?
there is so beauty there, yes…. wishing you a less nutty week!
Have you looked at the site, $hit My Kids Ruined lately? That might make you feel better. If that doesn’t, maybe misery loves company, as my week is not going according to plan, either…..
